NASH (Fatty Liver Disease) A Hidden Epidemic!
NASH (often referred to as fatty liver disease) is a serious disease for which there are no approved medications for its treatment. If left unchecked NASH can increase the risk of cardiovascular diseases (e.g. heart attacks and strokes) and can progress and lead to additional health related issues.
If you have Type 2 diabetes, then this puts you at risk.
NASH is sometimes referred to as a silent killer its symptoms are often non-specific making it difficult to diagnose.
MeDiNova is enrolling eligible volunteers for a clinical trial evaluating an investigational medication for the treatment of NASH.
By volunteering to participate you may be eligible for screening to determine whether you have NASH. Early detection and management of NASH can slow the progression of the disease,
I am not sure, I still have some questions, what shall I do next?
The first step is a simple phone call, this will allow us to give you additional information about the clinical trial and to answer your questions. During this call we may ask you some questions regarding your current health to establish whether this trial may be suitable.
To arrange this initial telephone discussion please complete the online registration form.
If after speaking with our medical professionals, you do decide to participate you are under no obligation to continue and may withdraw from the trial at any time. Taking part will not interfere with any current NHS treatment and MeDiNova will keep your GP fully informed for the duration of the trial.
