Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) Observational Clinical Trials

Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) is a highly contagious seasonal virus that impacts everyone but can cause more serious respiratory illness in older adults leading to hospitalisation and even death.

Older adults with chronic heart or lung disease and weakened immune systems are at a higher risk of severe RSV infection. RSV usually starts with mild flu-like symptoms such as congested or runny nose, cough, sore throat, wheezing, headache, shortness of breath, fatigue, fever, body ache and decreased appetite, etc. but can sometimes cause more serious respiratory illnesses.

We are looking for volunteers to take part in our Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) observational clinical trials.

Eligible participants may:

  • Receive regular monitoring by our clinical trial doctors.
  • Have their travel costs reimbursed.
  • Be compensated for their time and any inconvenience.
  • Help future generations with by contributing to medical research.

For further information and to discuss your eligibility with our team, please complete our online form.

Please note: As this is an observational trial, you will not benefit medically from taking part and you are able to opt out at any time and do not have to give us a reason for doing so. Your GP will be informed about your participation and all medical assessments that will be carried out as part of the trial. If during screening any abnormal results are found your GP will also be informed.
