Mental Health Awareness Week

Mental Health Awareness Week

This week in the UK is Mental Health Awareness Week. It is a yearly event which provides an opportunity for the whole of the UK to focus on achieving good mental health. This year’s theme is tagged: “Loneliness”.

Over the course of the pandemic, a lot of people in the UK and around the world found themselves disconnected from family/friends and the world at large. This greatly impacted both our mental and physical health, which is why this theme is very relevant in these present times. As the world is slowly getting back together, it is important that we still address this issue of loneliness and protect our mental well-being and ensure a mentally healthy society.
